Fifth Circuit
Appellate Court of Maryland

Your problem may be difficult. Our answer will be direct.

We take cases that require speed, clear judgment, and the nerve to challenge the easy answer.

Civil cases

We handle business disputes, emergency court requests, trials, and enforcement. We find the pressure point and act on it.

Appeals

A bad ruling does not have to be the last ruling. We take difficult positions and build arguments that can change the result.

City harm

If a city agency hurt you, its own records may explain what happened. We can find the records and help bring the case.

When the court gets it wrong, we keep going.

Tess Law helped win published appellate decisions in Texas and Maryland. Each win reversed an adverse order. Each decision now guides cases beyond the clients who brought it.

Polk v. Crawford

Texas residency barrier enjoined. Trial-court ruling reversed.

Texas blocked our client from competing for an escrow-officer license because he lived in the wrong state. The Fifth Circuit found that Texas had produced no evidence to justify that barrier. It reversed the trial court and directed it to enter a preliminary injunction while the case continues.

Representative matters only. Every case turns on its own facts and law. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Did the city hurt you?

The city keeps emails, reports, complaints, contracts, and data. Those records may show what it knew, what it did, and why. We can help you find out.

Start with what happened to you. We will work backward to the records and the people who can explain it.
